Standard Stock Fencing Mesh
Above is a standard 800mm high stock fence to post & rail fence. It can be used to retain sheep, pigs and dogs that can't jump.
Stock fencing can be erected on round timber posts as shown below on a 1.2m high stock fence at a site near Sevenoaks, Kent. The 1.2m high stock mesh with a close mesh is being used more and more as a cost effective dog barrier for most dogs. Also where we are no longer allowed to use barbed wire this will take the fence up to 1.2m high and replace the barbed wire as shown.
Below is a stock fence on round chestnut stakes with two strands of barbed wire at a site near Whitfield, Kent.
